Sportsmanship & Respect

Sportsmanship & respect: we are all ambassadors HC Rotterdam is a hockey club where learning, performance and fun go hand in hand. The club believes it is important to emphasize that players, supporters and supervisors are all ambassadors of HC Rotterdam. It is therefore important to think together about how we interact with each other, both on and off the field. There are norms and values that should actually be accepted and applied by everyone, but unfortunately it appears that this is not always the case. Sportsmanship & respect is a current theme. How do we ensure a good atmosphere on and around the field? How do we all set a good example? Interaction with spectators, coaches and players has an impact on what happens on the field. How can you approach this as positively as possible? Parents, players, trainer/coaches and referees can contribute to making hockey as fun as possible.
