We are a wonderful association, we are proud of that! We create HC Rotterdam together, for the members and by the members. We are extremely happy with the hundreds of volunteers at our association, who contribute to hockey fun and club life in various ways.
We are so proud of our own wind hall, the Rotterdome. Our Rotterdamdome provides a lot of fun during the indoor period. With many volunteers we build the Rotterdome every autumn and in the spring we dismantle the Rotterdome again. The planning, guidance and coordination is done by the Rotterdamdome Committee. This committee consists of 6 active and committed people.
We are looking for two new members for the Rotterdamdome Committee.
What are you going to do?
- Together with the committee members and suppliers (Polyned and Royalcampen), you make a plan for the set-up and dismantling. You ensure good communication with the volunteers in the run-up and during the set-up and dismantling. During set-up and dismantling, you take In consultation with the committee members, you rotate the lead in the various tasks. Thinking about how to activate sufficient volunteers. Identifies problems and comes up with solutions together with your team. You actively think about the operation (not HCR) to make the Rotterdome financially viable.
The peak times are in October/November and February/March/April, when you spend several hours preparing and during the set-up and dismantling days.
